Our Mission
Partners in Equestrian Therapy empowers children, adults, and volunteers through a superior equine-assisted therapeutic program led by a team of certified instructors, trained staff, enthusiastic volunteers, and gentle and willing horses.
Our Story
Founded in 1994, Partners in Equestrian Therapy (P.E.T.) has operated for over twenty years to serve the San Luis Obispo County area. Our unique program is located in Atascadero, CA, and provides students with the opportunity to not only increase physical skills and cognition, but also confidence and independence.
Our Herd
Our horses are trained professionals, they know their jobs, and they love what they do. We trust them to take care of our riders, and in return, they give us everything they can.
